Wine cellar with Links


Ever dreamt of having a sought after wine collection in Hong Kong? Well now you can. Make it a reality!  Ever since the Government of the HK SAR decided to abolish duty on wine and beer effective April 2008, Hong Kong is the only country in Asia that has zero duty on wine,  And Hong Kong is the perfect half way point between the new and the old world from which to collect and store your cherished wine collection.

Wine shipments to Asia

If you already have a wine collection overseas and want to bring it to Hong Kong then let us know. We handle inbound refrigerated containers of wine throughout the year from large cellar operators in the old and new world. Your collection could be sailing its way to Asia sooner than you think.

Wine storage

By joining Links Cellars, we will store your wines in your very own wine storage area.  We will store your wine at our standard wine temperature and you will have access 7 days a week.

You will be able to use our bar facilities and to join in our regular wine shipments that we import from overseas.

Wine storage FAQs

  • The minimum storage and handling unit is one case (12 bottles).  Extra bottles are rounded up to the nearest case.
  • Checking fees for the contents of wine cases/crates are quoted separately.
  • If a mixed case is requested individual bottles remaining in cases must be resealed. Storage charges will resume as if a full case thereafter irrespective of the number of bottles remaining in the case.
  • If you would like additional insurance over and above Links Wine Cellars’ own limited insurance of a maximum of HK$220 per bottle please inform us.
